A ShutterBug Explores ~ Face Off Friday and Art for Fun

'Rice is great if you're really hungry

and want to eat 2,000 of something.'~

~ Mitch Hedberg

Oil pastel that hangs in my kitchen on Cape Ann MA

~ there are red heads in my family so this was my motivation ~ It was hard to photograph because it hangs so high on the wall and I am a short person ~ lol
Below is another rendition I did recently in watercolor.

  • An exploratory water color of the first face above
this one is one done quickly to see if I could do so
    in watercolor ~
The oil pastels worked better to manipulate ~
not so with this watercolor~ you can see lots of mistakes but it was fun ~

  8. Watercolors are hard to blend, but you did a great job with it anyway, Of course, I really love the oil pastel.

    BTW, I'm short, too.
