Happy Doggie ~ why am I happy?


I am happy for many reasons but
in this photo I am enjoying a sun puddle 
and it feels real good on my little body.
We have had frigid weather here
 on Cape Ann MA ~ so cold that
 Mom opted not to go for our walks for 
2 days in a row. Mom likes her walks
 probably more than I do. So you
can imagine weather had to be pretty cold. 
Am glad for the warm cozy
 house and a sun puddle today.

    We all enjoy a good sun puddle for napping at our house too. Our mom insists on walking in all weather every day of the year, so we don't get any breaks unless we are ill or injured.

    Ziggy I am like mom I miss my walks. Yesterday was the first time I've taken my walk since Jan 8th.
    The last two weeks have alternating between heavy rain and wind. Then frigid temps and wind.
    I walked 4,555 steps, 1.5 miles in 38 min.
    The fresh air and sun were wonderful. I understand your happy with the sun puddle

    Love that quote and it's ever so true. You're so cute, Ziggy and it's always good to find a sun puddle. I know it's cold, but spring is coming and you and mom will be back out and exploring soon.
