HAIKU

I.

white caps pound the beach

storm warnings, snow never came

rolling to sea now.

II.

crocus popping up

unafraid to shine their light

unlike some people

III

fur person, little

one who gives so much love warms

my soul everyday.

Hope you enjoyed the artwork and the haiku. Come back again sometime soon. And have a wonderful weekend.

  1. For some reason I am reading meaning into your haiku today. I sense that you take it all as it comes, no matter what it is, and meet it head on. Your ready for Spring. Someone has you a bit miffed and you love your cat.
How'd I do? So, I should keep my day job and not start that tarot practice I was thinking about?
I like the flow of your haiku and the signs of crocus' reminding us it's March!

    Peace

  34. Love your penguins. They are delightful.

And I especially enjoy your middle haiku. So many of us are afraid to shine their light. We need to be like the little crocus.

    Cheers!

  36. For some reason, I could not leave a comment last time you posted, but I am glad I can today. Love your penguins and your three stanzas of haiku. Do they call them stanzas in that genre? Hope your dog is well and helping you to keep your creative juices flowing.
