Tackle It Tuesday

'Tackle Tuesday'

Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity enhances the spirit.

Note: Magical Monday Meme is running for a few days ~ waiting for you ^_^

Today we are exploring haiku and not 'fishing for fish'. Japanese poetry has been around for centuries. Today, though, there is a modern trend yet also keeping with tradition. My haiku are below and we are linked with Tackle It Tuesday and word prompt was 'magnolia'.

haiku

I.
Spring has arrived now
magnolia blossoms falling
pink, white, beauty still.

II.

few miles south, Magnolia
part of town I live in here
sweet, ocean village.

III.

magnolia planted
fond memories her mother
rooted in earth, now.

Enjoy the haiku poets at Tackle It Tuesday.

Wishing you a magical and loving week.

Hugs and namaste,

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: ' Elightenment' a Zen master has said, 'is simply this: when I walk, I walk. When I eat, I eat. When I sleep, I sleep'.

  5. Fascination with the Magnolia flowers seemed infectious. It looked so beautiful as a solitary flower or as a canopy of pink and whites from a distance. Great write Carol!
