Photographers and Poets

Nature's Summer Time Beauty

Saturday post and it's photographers and poets. Above is a photo of one of the lanterns downtown on Cape Ann MA decorated with a beautiful hanging plant.

Below the photo is an awesome cacti in a clay bowl that now decorates my dining room table. Because my house has major southern exposure cacti seem to grow the best here.

We are sharing today with:

Weekend Blog Hop
Your Sunday Best

Haiku that I wrote at a writing workshop at the Manchester Library this morning, where we had fifteen minutes to just write anything we wanted to, is below this next photo.

  6. Beautiful shots - love those cacti, mine are pretty poor specimens although as I don't really know what I'm meant to do to them that's probably why.

Am in awe of your instant haiku writing - my mind goes blank if I try to force it to write poetry.
