Poets and Photographers Tuesday

Heron Pond ~ part of ArtMuse Dog and my Sunday adventure to the Conservation Site on Cape Ann MA.

Old and New Life of Nature at same Conservation Site as above.

Tuesday Post ~ on Monday ~ for 'Over the Pond' Blogs
ArtMuse Dog and I had a marvelous time walking and then sauntering to take in nature's gifts all around us. Of course, ArtMuse was more concerned with the destination than the journey. She was 'on the hunt' for all those different smells she had not taken in before. Even though this day event was so filling my creative spirit, I couldn't help imagine what the colors would be like when the leaves began to turn colors. Have to check back again. In the meantime we have haiku for you as well. The prompt for Tackle It Tuesday haiku was 'time.'

haiku
time, the gift of life
dance each moment with delight
treasure it today.
-o-

child time slow to pass
soon, time fleets through the fingers
gone, never to return.
-o-

time, tick, tocking by
each moment a memory
grateful for each day.

  16. I like the tree in the lake. I had a biology teacher at school who as part of an ecology unit showed us pictures he had taken of a tree that had fallen into a pond over 15 years ago. It was interesting to see it decompose before your eyes.

  23. Your haiku is beautiful and so true. Time goes so quickly now. I remember as a young girl the summer lasted forever. Now, you blink it is gone which is why it is so important to remember to cherish the moment. Your pictures are beautiful.
