Artists,Poets and Photographers Friday

Painted 'Fish Rocks'

Welcome to Friday's Post with paintings, photos and haiku. We have been working on 'creative' 'rock painting' and small canvas art work for a Holiday Fair. Love doing this, yet, will feel more focused after the 'Holidays'. Feel pressured to 'produce' and that is not my natural nature; tend to go with the flow and listen to my spirit. Somehow will need to practice that 'inner peace' during the up and coming season. Letting Go.

We are sharing today with:

paint party friday
carpe diem haiku

haiku my heart

haiku for Carpe Diem (prompt 'all souls day')
and haiku Friday

Hope you have enjoyed the art, haiku and photos. Check out the blogs we are sharing with for other creative works.

Wishing you the best in the day.

Hugs and namaste,

We love to have you post your comments, thoughts or questions to delight us all in the day ~ especially, ArtMuseDog ^_^

  1. Can sympathize, under pressure to be ready for our first craft fair on the 23rd.
Just remember to enjoy what you do - that's all that matters.

  3. Very cool painted rocks! It's hard sometimes when you're pressured to produce. Just try to take some time to yourself to reconnect :)

  7. Lovely post, Carol! Those fish rocks are so cute! Lovely Haiku and images too. OH yes, this time of year always gets crazy for me too. A new granddaughter due any day which means I'll be painting TWO Christmas ornaments this year instead of one, on top of all the daily sketch and blogging commitments I've taken on. I will need to practise some 'inner peace' too. xo

  24. Are the rocks glued onto the canvas and hung or are they free form? Just trying to figure it out and yes... very beautiful. I am so glad it is Art Every Day Month. I love catching up with everyone!

  25. I totally understand that "pressure to produce"! Sometimes pressure can be a good thing. After all, diamonds and pearls are a result of pressure. Channel the oyster!!

  42. Love your fish rocks! Reminded me of a documentary I saw the other night with James Cameron (Titanic). Besides making movies he is an underwater explorer and a group of explorers when 1-2 miles under the sea and there were absolutely amazing fish and unusual sea life - I think that's where your fish must have lived! :)
