Photographers, Poets and Artists Monday

Holiday Macro

Tis the start of the final week before the Christmas Holiday. Food to shop for and presents to wrap and art shows to help with and attend. Wondering what you all are doing these days leading up to the holiday?

'Prompt word ~ mandarin duck' for Carpe Diem Haiku

Have written haiku, yet, these prompts somehow seem out of 'season'. Loving the holiday lights in the window and the Christmas tree, I would rather be writing about that, I think. Have done so ~ so they may show up later in the week.

Rainy Day in MA ~ Light Reflecting on the Window, cheering me.

Most recent event has been the publication of my haiku book which may be purchased by clicking on the upper right hand corner side bar. Though it is 'self published', meaning I did all the work except for the printing and binding, Blurb's final product is quite professional looking. Hope you will check it out.

  6. Your photos are so evocative of the holiday season, Carol. Warm lights, either from the tree or reflected on a rainy scene through the window makes me feel grateful to have a home to retreat in. Pace yourself this week--sounds busy. Grains vs mandarin duck made me smile.
