Artists, Photographers and Poets Friday

Time for Paint Party Friday ~ Pen and Ink w/wc and Brush Ink

Welcome to our Friday post with creations of art, photos and haiku (poetry). Most of my photography will be from Cape Ann MA where I live now. It is winter here and today was a single digit morning. Used to ski, downhill and cross country and thinking maybe snow shoes to aid in accepting winter months. For now, though, ArtMuse Dog and I will just walk and see what photography we can create for this blog; plus stay warm.

Redheads ~ Back to drawing them. I come from a family of Redheads ~ hence my intrique.

'Sea Smoke' over the Harbor ~ Air was so Cold!

We hope you enjoyed our post with photography, art and haiku and will come visit again. We love to have you stop by.

  1. My stepdaughter is a redhead! I've also had two former BFFs that were redheads. I've never met one that didn't have a dynamic personality. Love the art, poetry, and the quote.

  16. Carol, Happy New Year! Looks like you are off to a great start. I love the redheads! My gdaughter is a redhead and I often make my painted ladies have red hair. Your haiku and your photos are great. Single digits! Wow! That's cold.

  17. That photo of the water just has cold written all over it. Then the 'redhead' drawings are ablaze with warmth. Great contrast this week.

  20. My first wife was a redhead, and embodied all the cliches and stereotypes.
The good was great; the bad was horror beyond imagination.

    Love your haiku.

I've always struggled with the "everything is beautiful" concept.
There is too much real ugliness and evil in the world for me to accept that notion.

    Cheers!

  28. You are packing a lot of beauty into these Friday posts. I love your Redheads, in fact, I prefer all my mermaids be red haired.
Winter. Snowshoes, you say? Did you know I make snowshoes? I do. If you'd like to see them and hear more about them, let me know. They are each one-of-a-kind and heirloom quality.
Now that I have shamelessly tried to solicit business, I will go on to say your Haiku is also a bright spot on this page today.

    Peace

  43. Hi Carol, i am finally here after a long deciphering how to do that from G+, haha! Your arts and photos depicts all cold and melancholy, that smoke on the see even with the bright light conveys real cold and it transcends to me here in our hot clime. Let me keep you warm with my tropical colors in my two blogs! keep warm and regards.
