Isn't winter delightful when you live in one of the northern climates? Actually, it is really quite beautiful but by February most of us have begun to dream about Spring. Good time to work on creative activities and enrich the inner spirit.

  9. I know the winter cold can seem to last forever there but your snow photos make this girl a bit wistful. We have had a VERY mild winter in East Texas and I feel a little cheated! The normal rhythm of the seasons is so comforting to me, even the longing for warmer weather that comes about as winter settles in. We have barely even used our coats this year...just doesn't feel right!

  12. Beautiful pictures - where most of the UK has had snow, we down in the west have escaped. It's unfortunate for the children who would love some but as you say, now into February we are thinking of Spring and the new life it breaths.
