QUOTE FOR THE DAY: 'The earth has music for those who listen.' ~ George Santayana
It's been a wet week here in the Great Lakes region - but they are at record lows, and there are places in the Mississippi River that are non-navigable.ReplyDelete
We need a big Aquarius delivery.
Great variety in the post for both the eye and the mind. I love them all, but am really fond of your Cape Ann shot.ReplyDelete
Spring is on its way even if Cape Ann feels chilly with briny breezes. The trees will looks much warmer with leafy boughs. Until then, the bare trees leave artistic shadows! I love the symmetry stacked stones in the rural areas...the watercolor parrots are beautiful!ReplyDelete
I agree with Yogi, great variety and I do love them all, Carol! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!ReplyDelete
Love all your artistry - of art and photos! You've been busy!ReplyDelete

My shadow is long in the morning, because it is eager to go outside faster than me.ReplyDelete
It is long in the evening, falling behind, as is reluctant to come back.
Wonderful vibrant parrots! <3 Lovely photos and haikus - as always! :)ReplyDelete

I love the Blue Monday picture, it's very serene. And I love the parrots...they make me think of warm weather!ReplyDelete
Oh, my goodness, Carol...I wish you could teach me how to sketch. I just love your things. Now that I am really retiring asap, maybe I can go back to it. Took many art classes thru the years, but have always felt like I was a dim wit at it. Sewing, quilting, and knitting,...another thing. Feel right at home. Back to your post. Your mosaic is so pretty. The stones are stacked sort of like the hoo doos we create in our creek out front. Happy Week :-) genieReplyDelete
I like the expression of the birds. Lovely collage and words too! Happy ppf!ReplyDelete

You are a busy woman! All your creative pursuits flow together nicely. I like the way you used only color details for the parrots.ReplyDelete

A Good Fish Story
Your watercolor is so beautiful. These are just the colors we love here in Florida! How talented you are. And the big smooth rocks are very interesting. I was looking through some seashells today and sorting out a few rocks I've picked up on the seashore. Sweet hugs!ReplyDelete
You poetry is visual art as well as literature!ReplyDelete

Have a wonderful week.
I really enjoy your blog, but today can see very little of it. The page times out before it downloads. I suspect that your photos are posted at high resolution - that's the usual cause.ReplyDelete
Anyway. I'll pop back soon and hopefully see more then.
Have a good week
