  5. those baby cardinals are so adorable. i've been watching a baby robin around our house. it's not quite learned what it's supposed to do yet. it seems a little lost. at least mama bird is close by and helps to feed it. your haiku is very good. and the household hints are great. hope all is well. have a great day~

  11. I washed windows for a living for a while. Nothing beats newspaper and vinegar is especially good outside. No streaks!!
    I love your trawlers but Zoe is my favorite this week.

  25. I used to watch 'Northern Exposer' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Exposure
    While I didn't watch every episode I did enjoy learning about some of the traditions celebrated in that town and the beliefs of the natives who lived there.

    There is a wonderful mystery to different beliefs and how the are connected. Thanks for stopping by. And for your lovely photos.

  64. I too received a flower bouquet for Mother's Day from my oldest. And only daughter bought me colorful plants for my deck. I'm so blessed. Your haikus this week are especially wonderful, especially the one about ancestors and stars. I've never seen baby cardinals; thanks for this particuar photo.
