The historic Copper Paint Factory now a Marine Research Center on Cape Ann MA
When the building was bought one of the stipulations was to keep the outside appearance the same. Copper was used in the paint for boats, I believe, because the general consensus then was that it was a way to protect the outer part of the boats from the sea salt corrosion.

Two crows 'cawing away'  on Cape Ann MA ~
Maybe the female was not too happy with her mate or visa versa?

'T' for Tree shadows on the beach ~ It was such a gift to be on the beach again. It was a long winter on Cape Ann MA ~ Snow constantly and snow inch record broken. To get to the beach
one has to walk across the park grass which we have not seen all winter.
The problem was the snow was so deep before it was impossible for several months to get there.

'I danced with delight when I saw these crocus reaching for the light!' ~ What a morning gift!

'Saving the Best for Last.' ~ We made it to the beach!  ^_^

We are wishing you a 'spring' in your day. xo

Lovely photos. I loved the first photo of the cool blue water sparkling in the bright sunlight.

You quote is worth remembering because most of us are adept at closing doors at the slightest provocation or assumed provocation. Opening doors is very important because it is the only way to enlarge our circle of friends and ensure better connectivity.
