  5. Hi Carol,

I've missed you! Your pup is the cutest thing; keep her on that leash or the decorative "thing" will get her!

    Have a Beautiful Blue Monday!

  6. Yes the last is definitely the best. I'm not sure about wolfie decorating nature's palette though.

  7. Wow … for a second I thought that yard decoration was real. Your pet is so much more cuddly … I would rather see a sculpture of Artmuse Dog there!

  8. Loved the post. Not sure I'd want to know the people who decorate their yard with a snarling wolf, but everything else is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Summer at the shore! Life is good.

  10. Nice to see Motif #1 still in such good repair! The wolf is likely there to keep certain pesky critters away. I wonder if it works. Zoe is so cute!

  14. I was going to say the barn looks like one I know from Rockport ...and then read that it actually is. I don't like the scary yard wolf.

  15. Wonderful images.

  16. Great photos and beautiful scenery - except for that bizarre yard decoration!?! I especially like the white egret with all those shades of green around it - water, vegetation and the light reflections.

  17. Artmuse Dog is awesome as always. And your ocean shots are always a joy to see. I'll be in your part of the world in a few weeks!

  18. If you didn't show it I wouldn't believe someone would opt to decorate their yard with that....whatever that is :)

  31. What a weird decoration to have in a yard, hmmm. Now that last pic? I'd welcome that in our yard any time. :)

  32. Lovely photos and interesting write up.

Your quote made me think. Most of us want money, fame and admiration without making an effort. Just as we cannot get pearls on the sea shore and we have to dive deep and take risks so also is the case in every other significant achievement. Idle wish will get us no where.

Your haiku is also fascinating. The color green always brings peace and joy. I always watched vast stretches of fully grown green paddy fields swaying cheerfully to the gently blowing wind with great admiration and wonder.

    Excellent post. I enjoyed it.

    Best wishes
