A SHUTTERBUG EXPLORES ~ 23

A Shutterbug explores the surrounding areas of Cape Ann MA each week with her camera and her assistant. We do look for 'the magic'and sometimes it appears when we are seemingly not looking. What a gift! What treasures nature offers!

~ (Posting for the week to save on my eyes as they are giving me problems. Thanks for understanding)

  24. Wow, Carol, you post with a lot of blogging groups. I knew that but today it hit me, I wouldn't be able to keep up with all the comments that you get.
Art looks like a demanding dog, like some women can give a 'freezing you out look.' Also the kids at the playground are well dressed for the cold. Here I have only worn my leather jacket two times this winter. We haven't had a freeze yet.
Is the Lighthouse a part of the park or is it a real operational lighthouse?

    1. Hi Jim ~ the lighthouses are part of the play ground ~ thanks for asking ~ We are in the cold and wind of March and possibly a bit of snow on Friday morning ~ Really ready for Spring ~

Happy Week to you ~ ^_^

  27. Hi Carol, I hope you are doing well and Artmuse dog too. I can not stop smiling when I see photos of the lil furry sweetheart. I hope you and Pamela were able to talk. She is the founder of the Sheltering:Postmark so I wanted to make sure she spoke with you. She does it in honor of her mom and I have enjoyed sending lots of encouragement out to many folks. I am sure by now you have heard that Smiling Sally (DiStefano) passed away. Goodness, it has been sad at blog world. First EG CameraGirl and her hubby and now Sally. It is hard to lose those we grow to love here. I am never disappointed when I visit here, your shares are always so comforting, so beautiful, so inspiring and just plain happy. Thank you for being a great blog friend. Stay warm and enjoy your week. xo

  28. Great post for 1st of March.. Lovely photos

  29. All of your pictures this week were wonderful, but I keep coming back to the little boy with his working stick all bundled up for the cold temps. He makes me think of Eloise when she was little, and Buddy and I ordered her some children's skiing poles and painted them pink. She was the cutest thing with them on the trails. They do not make real hiking stick for little ones. I am like you...before I take a photo of any children, I always ask the parents. That way I do not have to blur out the faces. It was nice to see your baby out and about this week.
