A SHUTTERBUG EXPLORES ~ 108 ~ ABC Wednesday

'C' for Catch ~
Cape Ann MA Fishing Boat ~ surrounded by sea gulls because of the 'catch' on their boat ~ Not sure, but think it is a 'dragger' and
may be fishing for eels which are considered a
delicacy in some parts of the world.

Linking with ABC Wednesday ~

Check them out as it is another 'across the pond' blog
with writers and photographers from around the world.

We love your comments, thanks, ^_^

I recently had eel at a sushi place and thought I'd gag...but surprisingly it was actually quite tasty.

I guess that body of water is really teeming with food for the birds, as they are so plenty there! Thanks for visiting my site.

Wow sea gulls look energetic! I'm not big fan of eel - maybe it tastes fine but I can't get over how it looks...!

Beautiful picture ! I always pity the poor fishes, but then I eat them. Not logical isn't it ?

Beautiful photo. Eating eels doesn't sound good to me. I live in a land locked area in the middle of the country. An occasional blue gill, bass or catfish is what I was brought up on. All the exotic creatures from the deep are just pictures to me. Although as an adult I have had a few of those exotics.

Hi Carol. I can't resist stopping by to glance and marvel at your boats and the sea gulls circling. The water sparkles beautifully! Have a great week! Suzanne
That water is so beautiful and blue ....Isn't it fun how the gulls (and pelicans, in Florida) know when a boat has fish aboard! We enjoy sushi occasionally and I think eel is one fish they use. I thought no they call it something else ....

I can almost hear those seagulls. Whenever I see your photos of the harbor (?) I can't get over how still the water is.

Those seagulls never give up. They're always clustered around fishing boats.
