  1. Every day... I practice this, changing. Looking for all the ways I am so strident in holding on to what I know, or think I know... I think this will take lifetimes... and beyond, to learn this one... wise words dear Carol, and a beautiful photo to remind us to go with the river... and the ducks. Have a beautiful weekend.

  2. We humans sometimes seem to be the slowest learners of all, don't we?

  5. such a peaceful view on our ever changing world. nature and all her creatures big and small live all their days offering us wisdom and beauty. it is not enough to be grateful-it is time to be caretakers of this world we are only invited to share.

  7. Aah, love your haiku dear, so true! We humans are (too) stubborn to learn and adapt - at least most of the time. I will try to have a 'flexible' weekend and wish you the same! Hug from Holland

  8. We think too much about what might have been and let it interfere with our adapting to what is.
