'Make way for ducklings' on Cape Ann MA.
They are frequently on this road that I take to the grocery store. Today, though ~ they were on both sides of the road ~ I always worry that they are going to get hit by a car ~ Can I control that ~ no ~ can only control myself and my driving and hope that they will survive ~ They are awesome ~ Property has been sold and not sure they are getting fed but guess they know how to take care of themselves. |
We are sharing with: Eileen's Saturday Critters.
I love your comments. Thank You.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteYou are kind to stop for the ducks and geese. They did pick a dangerous place to cross or hang out. I hope they stay safe. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend!
That's quite a flock! Nice that people stop for them! Hurry across little ones!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness they know their way. I hope. Love this!
ReplyDeleteWe always worry about our geese standing in the road too and it's sad when they don't make it.
ReplyDeleteMy Sweetie gets out of the car and stops the traffic and ushers them across the road!
ReplyDeletecanadian geese are evil! (not that they should be run over) they can take care of themselves :)
ReplyDeleteThere are many Canada geese here too. This is a constant problem on one of our major streets that runs right beside a small lake.
ReplyDeleteQuite a flock.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of geese!
ReplyDeleteA good size flock near a busy route not far from here, I believe, was relocated. I hope the same can be done there.
There are more ducks than geese here ~ but many only see the geese ~ sigh.
ReplyDeleteI knew you wouldn't say ducklings if it was just Canada Geese, but I did have to look carefully to find them. It was w orth it !! Sweet picture and I hope they are all safe.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a flock!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I would love to get stopped by those cuties. Hope they are safe and sound.
