Watching the boats on Cape Ann MA ~
I am sure, we all are wondering about the New Year yet to come.
Do you have a plan for your 'journeying' through the year?
I once visited an artist teacher and she had made a diorama of a ship and suggested to her students that they think about their own quest and how they would travel on that quest and to make a replica of their planned transportation. When I created this sailboat in this watercolor, 'my journey' and the art teacher came to mind.
I am hoping for 'smooth sailings' for all of us.

Beautiful story Carol, I love the idea of painting your quest. Your watercolour really tells that story as the child and pup watch the ship set sail.
