A ShutterBug Explores ~ Saturday Critters

I want to thank all of you for your warm and loving thoughts about Angel crossing 'the rainbow bridge' ~ It still hurts deeply. Your supportive comments have helped me move on a bit ~ will take time.

Love and hugs,

Feathered Friends `traffic stoppers' on Cape Ann MA

They keep moving the ducks and geese so they won't get run over
but they keep coming back to the water on each side of the road.

  2. Oh dear me....what a quacky family. The adults always seem to take such care with the wee ones but evidently none are told the grass is not always greener on the other side.

  5. Geese are crossing major streets in Tulsa. Everybody stops until they have wibble wobbled their way across the road.

  6. We see that here too, it's mighty hard to herd geese!

  7. They do that here, too. The pond is always wetter on the other side of the road!

  8. Lovely shot! Water on either side can be a problem. A bridge can mitigate this.

  9. Here in Vermont geese crossing at a busy route intersection was taken care of by removing them to a better place. Makes no sense to me why geese feel the need to go back and forth when one pond is as good as the other.

  10. Being new to Connecticut, I was amazed when a large flock of turkeys held up traffic. Beautiful portraits in memory of your two cherished pets.
