A ShutterBug Explores ~ Saturday Critters

'Every noble work is at first impossible.'

~ Thomas Carlyle

My new 'critter' on Cape Ann MA ~

Today is a week that Ziggy has been with me. She is a rescue from a woman who lives the next town over. She wanted to rehome Ziggy because she found due to her health she could no longer care for him.
I am sad for her but glad that I have this sweet little doggie ~ He is 9 years old and a neutered male ~ We are both settling in ~ Takes time to
adjust to a new home and a new sweet doggie. He is what they call a designer dog ~ Mai Shi ~ (Maltese and ShihTzu.) I love him dearly.

  1. Ziggy is so adorable and I know you'll love having her with you. She'll have such a good home with you. I have been looking at dog books and dog info online. I would so love to get a dog sometime. Wish you were close to tell me all that you've learned from having dogs!

  4. Hello Carol :=)
    Your dog has an adorable face and is so cute. I am so glad you decided to care for another dog. They are such loyal companions. I still miss my dog Mel but know that I don't have the energy to care for another dog. I would get another dog, but there are days when I wouldn't be able to take it a walk, so regretfully resist the temptation.
    All the best, take care, and of each other.

  5. That’s a very cute dog! My neighbor rescued a dog whose owner had become disabled, though I met only the dog. A sweet one. You and the dog are both lucky!
